Studio Appaix wants to help you organize your dream show!
There are a couple of things you should be aware of:
The space is located in a New Orleans ground-floor "basement" that does not have climate control although tends to stay cool. This also means the ceiling is 6'8" tall!  There is a set of large double doors (about 7' wide) to enter the space as well as a driveway for easy drop-off and installation of your work.
The gallery space is wheelchair accessible but the bathroom is not.
In addition to an opening reception, we will work together to come up with a second experience for visitors to view your work. In the past, we have hosted dinner and cocktail hours during which you have a chance to really engage with the viewers and discuss your work.
A food-oriented experience is a ticketed event that would occur during the month(s) of your show. All food will be vegan to accommodate a larger audience. The possibilities are otherwise endless! I have a lot of experience cooking vegan food so am up for a challenge if you're willing to work with me.
You are welcome to sell your works out of the space, I will not take a commission as long as you facilitate the entire process! If you are unable to do so, there will be a 20% commission as a facilitation fee.
Profits from the event will go to Studio Appaix, this is how I keep it running! You will of course not have to pay for your own attendance, but any guests will be subject to the fee. This will all be discussed in more detail should your proposal be accepted.

Additionally, if you already have ideas for an experience, please add an additional word or .pdf document detailing this plan!
An experience can look like:
   - An all-included seated dinner with 8-10 guests in the gallery
   - A cocktail evening with hor d'oeuvres
   - A simple cocktail evening
   - A buffet-style dinner with cocktails available for purchase
-Anything else you can think of!
